How do I compress an image without losing quality?

Start with Balanced or light compression and compare before/after at full size. PNG logos with flat colors tolerate higher quality settings; photographic JPEGs shrink more at slightly lower quality without obvious blur. Resize oversized dimensions first—compressing a 4000 px wide photo when the form needs 1200 px wastes detail and file size.
