Private on your device

Your information stays on your device and is not uploaded.

Strip metadata from camera or AI-generated photos by re-encoding without EXIF and other embedded tags (GPS, camera model, capture date, and similar fields). Processing stays on your device—nothing is uploaded.

How to use this tool

1. Upload a JPG or PNG photo (camera or AI-generated). 2. Choose JPEG or PNG output. 3. Click Remove metadata. 4. Download the cleaned copy. 5. Share when you need an AI metadata stripper or EXIF remover without uploading files.

Worked example

Example: a phone photo or AI image export loses GPS and embedded camera/tool tags while keeping the same visible pixels and dimensions.

How it works

Upload a photo and re-encode it without EXIF and other embedded metadata such as GPS location, camera model, and capture date—useful for camera shots and AI-generated images before you share them. The image is redrawn on your device—nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this an AI metadata stripper?

Yes for embedded photo metadata. It re-encodes the image without EXIF and similar tags (GPS, camera model, capture date, and other fields that often travel with camera or AI image exports). It does not claim to detect or remove invisible AI watermarks or Content Credentials.

What metadata is removed?

Re-encoding strips EXIF and other embedded metadata containers that browsers do not copy into the new JPEG or PNG. Visible pixels stay; location and camera/tool tags typically do not.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Processing runs on your device. Images are not uploaded to Utilnivo servers.
