How to use this tool
1. Enter a start date. 2. Enter an end date (defaults to today). 3. Click Calculate difference. 4. Review years, months, days, and total days between the dates. 5. Swap dates if the end is before the start—the tool reports the absolute span.
Worked example
Example: from 1 January 2024 to 1 July 2026 is 2 years, 6 months, and 0 days (about 912 total days).
How it works
Enter a start date and an end date. The calculator counts whole calendar days between them and also reports weeks plus a years/months/days breakdown. If the end date is earlier, the duration is still shown and marked as reversed.
